Classic American Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

- 1+1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1+1/2 cups of tomato ketchup
- 1/2 cup of red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 2+1/2 tablespoons of dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons of paprika
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons of black pepper
- 2 dashes of tabasco or other hot pepper sauce
