Mamie Eisenhower's Million Dollar Fudge

An online recipe with instructions for making Mamie Eisenhower's Million Dollar Fudge.

Ingredients

- 4-1/2 cups of sugar
- pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tall can of evaporated milk (how many ounces?)
- 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 ounces of German sweet chocolate
- 1 pint of marshmallow cream
- 2 cups of chopped nuts

Instructions

Heat the sugar, salt, butter and evaporated milk together and boil the mixture for six minutes.

Put the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour the boiling sweet milk mixture over them.

Beat until the chocolate is melted and all ingredients are well blended.

Pour mixture in a pan and let it stand a few hours before cutting into squares.

This fudge tastes best if it's stored overnight in a tightly sealed tin box or other container.
