Orange Apricot Balls

An online recipe with instructions for making Orange Apricot Balls.

Ingredients

- 1/3 cup of dried apricots, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons of Grand Marnier liqueur
- 2 cups of finely crushed vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar (confectioners sugar)
- 1/4 cup of slivered almonds, finely chopped and toasted
- 2 tablespoons of frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- Additional powdered sugar

Instructions

Marinate the chopped apricots in the Gran Marnier in a small bow about one hour, to soften. In a separate bowl, mix the crushed vanilla wafers, the 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, and the almonds. Mix in the apricots and Grand marnier mixture and the orange juice concentrate, and blend well. form into balls 1 inch in diameters. Roll the balls in the additional powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container at least two days for the flavors to develop. Store in the refrigerator. Best if brought to room temperature beore serving.
