Sunday was a dead session and they were going to cancel it.  The rink has a
"Floating floor" which is a floor built on wood beams so that it rebounds.
These floors are really nice!

From what I can tell, this is a large, expensive resort / convention
center, which incidentally happens to have a "roller rink" of some
sort on the grounds.  It's quite probably restricted to guest use only.

According to a 10/27/95 Ft. Luaderdale newspaper article, this rink
is partially completed, but was having to deal with objections from
the neighborhood.  The facility is to include a 200'x80' roller rink,
bumper cars, a video arcade and more.

According to the article, city approvals and additional fundings are
needed before the rink can open, possibly in the early 1996 timeframe.

According to a newspaper article, the municipal park and recreation
department has been working on the Skating Arena, due to be completed
sometime in September.  The facility is located in the Tamarace Sports
Compleex and will be used for roller hockey, family skating, teen
dances and summer camp activities.

The outdoor areana is to be 195'x90' with bleachers and covered players
boxes.
