What is a Duathlon?
A duathlon is a multi-sport race that combines the sports of running and cycling. Typically the sequence is running followed by cycling followed by running again, with no break in between (meaning the transition time is included in the overall finish time.)
Distances
- Sprint: 5 kilometer run - 20 kilometer bike - 2.5 kilometer run
- Standard: 10 kilometer run - 40 kilometer bike - 5 kilometer run
- Middle: 10 kilometer run - 60 kilometer bike - 10 kilometer run
- Long: 10 kilometer run - 150 kilometer bike - 30 kilometer run
